Returns & Refunds

Bookworld’s aim is to consistently offer world class service to our customers. For this reason, if you buy our Books or Stationery and are not satisfied with your purchase, you are able to exchange the items for other items or get a refund. The Policy is applicable to both Books and Stationery. For us to accept the return, the following requirements must be met in full:
  • In cases of Refunds and Exchanges, No Audience will be given without an Original Purchase Receipt.
  • Guarantee period is only valid for seven (7) days.
  •  All Items must be in original condition.
  • Unopened items can be returned or exchanged with an original receipt.
  • The refund will be made according to the original method of payment. We will only refund on the same credit card or to the same bank account that was used to make the original purchase. Cash Amount below K300 will be refunded in the shop while any Cash amount above K300 will only be refunded by the Accounts Department to the Bank Details provided by the Customer. The Accounts department refund will take 1-3 working days.
  • Gift vouchers & Magazines have no Warranty nor Guarantee; therefore, ensure that you obtain the right/ correct voucher or Magazine
  • Return or Exchange will be done from the Original Shop the Purchase was done.
